IMPROVING YOUTH OUTCOMES

Students: Help Shape Programs That Help You

We want to hear from you! The survey you’re about to take is called the Developmental Assets Profile (DAP), created by the Search Institute, a nationally recognized organization that studies what young people need to grow up healthy, strong, and successful. The survey asks questions about your experiences—things like the supports you have in your life, your goals, how you spend your time, and how confident you feel in different areas. It’s not a test, and there are no right or wrong answers.

Why It Matters:

Your answers will help the program you’re part of (and other youth organizations across our community) understand:

  • What’s going well for young people like you
  • Where more support may be needed
  • How to improve activities, mentoring, and opportunities so they work better for you

By taking this survey, you’re helping create stronger programs—for yourself and for other youth in the community.

Supported by Excel Beyond the Bell of San Antonio, a citywide network of youth-serving organizations working together to improve opportunities for young people outside the school day and the USAA Foundation.
